My Father and His Colleagues
I was the oldest daughter in our family and had a younger brother and sister. My mother passed away early and my father had to shoulder the responsibility of bringing up all of us. My father worked in a small brushless motors factory since he was thirty years old. He was kind and upright and very popular among the workers. All his colleagues knew the situation of our family and often stretched their helping hands when we encountered difficulties. They donated money to us when they heard my younger sister was down with congenital heart disease; they helped me buying an electric bicycle when I was admitted by the famous university. Every member of our family was grateful to them and we would not forget their kindness to us forever. All I could do was to study hard and repay them one day. I rode the electric bike to the university every day with a mood of gratitude. I believed in myself that I could let our family living a comfortable life in the future.
