Use inverter fed into induction motor
Using inverter can achieved the required voltage and current’s regulation of AC motor. The limitations of the past are the need of using direct start, star delta starter, soft starter and similar technology, but these techniques have been eliminated by the inverter. The main section contains three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) of the six IGBT / diode and gate drive. Currently, the Intelligent Power Module (IPM) has become an increasingly popular alternative solution. Now the drive can achieve four-quadrant operation. Use of the accurate control signal can adjust the motor’s current and speed. Rotating direction and the direction of energy transmission is optional. Induction motor is easy and convenient to use, so it replaces ac motor and have been widely used in a verity of fields.
